Please pay attention to the installation steps needed to remove two small O rings off of the center post of the filter receptacle in order for the water to flow. or you could use a small screwdriver to remove them. DO NOT remove the larger O rings as the cap will leak water all inside of the fridge
Fits in place of EveryDrop Filter 4 (UKF8001, EDR4RXD1) water filter for select Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Kitchen Aid models.
Please make sure you want to bypass EveryDrop Filter 4 (UKF8001, EDR4RXD1). This cap will not fit in place of other filters.
Location is the upper right corner of refrigerator (usually French door refrigerator with freezer on bottom). One of the pictures shows placement of the cap inside the refrigerator filter compartment.
